Where do letters to Santa go? Today’s Video of the Day from the U.S. Geological Survey features a small town in Alaska called North Pole, where thousands of letters are mailed to Santa each year.
While the South Pole is located on a land mass, the geographic North Pole lies in the Arctic Ocean.
In addition to the Alaskan town of North Pole, some of the letters addressed to Santa end up at the post office in Anchorage, Alaska. Other letters get sent to Claus, Indiana, which is home to the Museum and Village.
