Today’s Video of the Day comes from the European Space Agency’s Earth from Space series and features a look at Vojvodina, Serbia from space.
Vojvodina is located in northern Serbia and contains a vast array of agricultural fields thanks to the rich soil left behind by the Pannonian Sea 2 to 23 million years ago.
The Pannonian Sea existed for roughly 9 million years before it got cut off from its primary water source and became lake before drying up completely.
