Today’s Video of the Day comes from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and features a look at Tropical Cyclone Ella in the South Pacific Ocean.
The clip illustrates data recorded on May 10, 2017, showing the storm intensifying and moving westward. The storm has been bringing heavy rainfall at rates up to 9.1 inches per hour and winds of up to 80 miles per hour. Next, Ella is projected to move west and just miss the island of Fiji.
