Today’s Video of the Day describes a summer expedition for scientists and students called the Northwest Passage Project.
The journey onboard the icebreaker Oden will travel over 1,800 nautical miles in 18 days throughout July and August. This year’s expedition will feature the first-ever live interactive broadcasts.
The goal of the mission is to conduct a wide range of studies to fill critical data gaps in Arctic ocean science:
