TJUICE will set out for Jupiter in 2022 oday’s Video of the Day from the European Space Agency introduces the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE), which will set out on a seven-year journey to Jupiter beginning in May of 2022.
This film gives us an animated look at the trip to Jupiter, including the spacecraft’s view of the planet and its large moons.
After JUICE is launched into space from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, a series of gravity-assist flybys at Earth, Venus, and Mars will put the spacecraft into orbit for its October 2029 arrival to Jupiter.
