Today’s Video of the Day from the The Sanders Institute addresses the question of what individuals can do to help fight climate change.
Author and environmentalist Bill McKibben, who is also a Founding Fellow of the Sanders Institute, explains that this is a great question to be asked considering that the climate crisis is such a huge problem.
McKibben says, “The biggest thing an individual can do is become…a little less of an individual.”
By joining with others to form large movements, we can all help to push for changes that will make a difference.
A good place to start is to join the Rise for Climate global day of action on September 8, 2018. You can look for an event near you at riseforclimate.org.
