Today’s Video of the Day comes from the European Space Agency’s Earth from Space series and features a look at central Brazil.
The images reveal a large, flat plateau covered in agricultural fields. The region is especially known for soybean production. Since the 1970’s, Brazil’s soybean output has increased by a remarkable 3,000%.
As we move westward, the land drops off into a green, hilly valley.
