Today’s Video of the Day comes from Queensland University and features a look at why you should care about seagrass.
As Dr. Paul Wu explains, seagrass meadows are extremely important to ecosystems and support a wide variety of marine life, from fish to turtles to mammals and birds. But seagrasses have also been disappearing at an alarming rate.
But now, Dr. Wu and his team of scientists have devised a statistical model to predict the right time to dredge and give seagrass a shot at recovery.
