Today’s Video of the Day comes from Stockholm University and features a look at how Baltic Sea fish are in high demand from both humans and animals.
Birds, seals, commercial fishery, and recreational fishing are all after fish from the Baltic Sea, which include pike, perch, whitefish, pikeperch, sea trout, vendace, cod, sprat, and herring.
According to the research, human fishing consumes 700,000 tons of Baltic Sea fish per year, while both seals and birds consume 100,000 tons each.
