Umnak Island in the Aleutian Islands

Umnak Island is seen here in the Image of the Day taken by the NASA Earth Observatory. Umnak Island is the third largest in the Aleutian Island chain. The Island is covered in volcanoes, including Mount Okmok on its northern end, which erupted in 2008.
