MacDonald and his team have also come across other projectiles, as well as a variety of tools. At one stage, they found a rock surrounded by obsidian flakes, which implied that someone had once sat around that stone forging tools. MacDonald thinks that both males and females were tool-makers within the Native American tribes that lived in Yellowstone, as such instruments would have been so prized.
