The Colorado River is shrinking rapidly. It is widely considered to be the most important waterway in the southwestern United States. The Colorado River basin spans 246,000 square miles, stretching across 7 states and supplying water to over 40 million people and 6,3000 miles of farmland. But according to a new study, global warming may reduce the water flow of the Colorado River by more than a third by the end of the century.
