Today’s Video of the Day from NASA Goddard introduces the Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC), which has been collecting between 13 and 22 images of the planet every day since 2015.
Located on the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite, the camera is providing scientists with a new vantage point from which to study extremely important aspects of the Earth, such as the atmosphere, plant life, cloud coverage, and the health and vegetation of the land.
