Many beauty products including makeup, shampoo, lotion, and nail polish contain chemicals that lack safety data. Some of these chemicals have been linked to birth defects and other major health issues in animal studies.

So why take a chance if you don’t have to? There are plenty of environmentally conscious, chemical-free beauty brands that do not leave you guessing what you are putting on your skin. Here are some of the best green beauty brands that are available.
