Eremonotus

Description

Eremonotus is a genus of hepatics belonging to the family Gymnomitriaceae . It comprises 3 species described and of these, only 2 accepted. The genus was described by Lindb. & Kaal. ex Pearson and published in A Natural Arrangement of British Plants 1: 705. 1821. The type species is: E. myriocarpus (Carrington) WH Pearson (= Jungermannia myriocarpa Carrington)
