Description

Aconogonon alaskanum is an Asian and North American species of flowering plants in the buckwheat family known by the common name Alaska wild-rhubarb. Aconogonon alaskanum is native to Alaska, Yukon, Northwest Territory, and Chukotka (Chukchi) region of Arctic Russia. Aconogonon alaskanum is a perennial herb up to 200 centimeters (almost 7 feet) tall, with a woody root. Flowers are white or pale green, borne in elongated arrays.
