Ooi's paphiopedilum

Description

Paphiopedilum ooii is endemic to the island of Borneo in the state of Sabah, Malaysia. The species is only found on Mount Kinabalu at elevations between 600 and 1,110 m asl (Braem and Chiron 2003, Cavestro 2001, Koopowitz 2008, Cribb and Wood 2009). The extent of occurrence (EOO) and the area of occupancy (AOO) are both estimated at 4 km2.
