Description

It is a perennial, prostrate shrub, the often purple stalks that rooted in each knot, which makes it possible to form a rug. The leaves are oval, 1-4 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, sharp at apex, rounded sub-cordate at base, sessile, sub-juicy, glabrous, except at the hairy margins; Pale green; Tubular sheath, 3-3.5 mm long, with some long strands at apex. The C. repens grows in moist shaded areas can be found in rocky soils, sandy, gravel and also climbing over rocks.
