Meryta macrophylla

Description

Meryta macrophylla is a shrub was already described and the name validly published by Asa Gray based on a prior description by William Rich. It was Berthold Carl Seemann, however, who reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics in 1862 is a species in the genus Meryta which contains approximately 27 to 30 species and belongs to the family of the Araliaceae (Ginseng Family).
