Description

Niviventer cremoriventer is a species of rodent in the Muridae family.It can be found in the following countries: Indonesia,Malaysia,Myanmar and Thailand.The Niviventer cremoriventer is one of 15 species belonging to the genus Niviventer,known as white-bellied rats.The Niviventer cremoriventer has reddish-brown skin for thick orange-brown on upperparts,with distinct lengths,black hairs.The lower one is whitish with a yellow coloration.The tail,dark and prehensile has a slight tuft at the tip and is larger than the head and body,providing the niviventer Sundaic trees with excellent balance,so that it is equally at home foraging fruit in the canopy as it is on the ground of the forest.Its ample rear legs with well-developed cushions in the soles also make it a capable climber.
