(Bullimus gamay)
Bullimus gamay is a rodent of the genus Bullimus that occurs in the forests on the island of Camiguin in the Philippines,between 900 and 1475 m altitude.The name gamay is the Cebuano word for "small".The species probably stems from specimens of Bullimus bagobus or the ancestor of that species thatcrossedthe narrow but deep strait between Camiguin and Mindanao.B.gamay is a small Bullimus species with a soft,thick,red-brown coat.The belly is only slightly lighter than the back.The third choice is relatively small.
