Description

Haplochromis martini is a species of cichlid endemic to Lake Victoria though it may now be extinct. This species can reach a length of 10.4 centimetres (4.1 in) SL. The specific name honours James Martin who was Transport Officer in the Uganda Protectorate, for the assistance to the Swiss ornithologist who collected type, Edward Degen.
