Description

The oruguero of Reunion ( Coracina newtoni ) is a species of bird of the Campephagidae family.It inhabits the island of Réunion,a French territory in the Indian Ocean,it is a critically endangered species.The oruguero of Reunion is a small arboreal bird.Its plumage presents dimorphism.The males are gray with a darker back and lighter lower area;his face is dark and gives the impression of having a mask.The female is very different,its upper part is dark brown and mottled the lower area with a white line in the eye.Its call is a clear whistle tui tui tui,from which derives its name in French tuit-tuit.
