(Acrocephalus paludicola)
The aquatic warbler ( Acrocephalus paludicola ) is a bird of the Acrocephalidae family that lives in Eurasia and Africa. It is a small bird, with an average length of 12.5 cm.Males and females have a similar appearance, with a tinge of brown tones on the back with irregular dark lists, while the belly is slightly mottled whitish. It receives its common name by the color pattern of its head, which has two wide and dark stripes on the sides of the pileus, parallel to its eye lists. Its beak is narrow and pointed. The juveniles show a general ocher color, listed in the upper parts and without marks in the lower ones.It can be confused with juveniles of the common warbler, which also have similar stripes on the head, but the spots are darker on the warblers and its general coloration is paler, and in flight its tail seems more pointed.
