Description

Scythris sinensis is a moth of the Scythrididae family. It is found in eastern Asia, Europe, central Russia, southern Siberia and North America (Pennsylvania). The wingspan is 10–14 mm. The forewings are blue-blackish and the hindwings are dark fuscous. The larvae feed on Chenopodium album and Atriplex patula.
