Description

Chlamydastis chionosphena is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1931. It is found in French Guiana. The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are brown, slightly reddish-tinged and with an elongate-triangular snow-while patch extending along the costa (with the apex anterior) from the base to five-sixths, reaching nearly half across the wing, the posterior side oblique from the end of the cell to the costa. The hindwings are light grey.
