Description

Oreta flavobrunnea is a moth in the family Drepanidae. It was described by Watson in 1967. It is found in China (Yunnan, Fujian). The length of the forewings is 20.5–23 mm. The ground colour of both wings is buff, with a slight greenish tinge. The costal area of the forewings is speckled with pinkish-white and pink scales and the apex is speckled with white and black. The postmedial fascia is greenish yellow and the distal and posterodistal margin of the cell are irregularly marked with white scales. The area of the hindwing which is overlapped by the forewing is dull pink.
