Description

Bucculatrix illecebrosa is a moth in the Bucculatricidae family. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from California. The wingspan is 7.5–8 mm. The forewings are bright brown, the scales below the fold black-tipped. The hindwings are grey. The larvae feed on Helianthus species. The larvae are leaf-skeletonizers. Pupation takes place in a white or pale yellow cocoon.
